MyHome collects no personal data. Everything you create stays on your own Mac.

1. Who we are
MyHome is made by Helder Apps (Sulaiman Hashimi), the Netherlands. “We” and “us” mean Helder Apps. For questions about this policy you can reach us at support@helderapps.nl.
2. What data MyHome collects
None. MyHome has no account, doesn't connect to the internet and sends nothing to us or anyone else: no usage statistics, no device information and no content from your projects. The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking software.
3. What stays on your Mac
Everything you create or add in MyHome is stored only locally, in the app's protected storage on your Mac (the macOS App Sandbox). This includes:
- projects, floor plans, floors and layouts;
- furniture, colours, materials and your own 3D models;
- photos you add as a texture or to a note;
- notes, the snag list, prices and settings.
We can't access any of this. You make a backup yourself via Projects; that file contains your whole design, including photos. You decide where to keep it and who to share it with. The same goes for PDF and CSV files you export.
4. Access on your Mac
MyHome doesn't ask for access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, calendar or photo library. The app can only access files you choose yourself in an open or save dialog (such as a photo, 3D model or backup), and your Downloads folder to save exports.
5. Links to websites
If you add a product link to a piece of furniture yourself, it opens in your own web browser. What happens on that website falls under that website's privacy policy. MyHome itself fetches nothing from the internet.
6. App Store and Apple
You download and buy MyHome through Apple's App Store. Payments, refunds and your Apple Account are handled by Apple, under Apple's privacy policy. We don't receive your name, email address or payment details.
Apple may show us general figures that can't be traced back to you, such as the number of downloads per country. If you have turned on Share with app developers in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may also send us crash reports. These don't include your name, and we only use them to fix bugs. You can turn this off there at any time.
7. If you email us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if it's included and whatever you send us, including attachments. We only use this to answer your question and improve MyHome. We don't share it with anyone and don't keep it longer than needed. Our email runs through Apple's iCloud Mail.
Only include personal information or a backup of your project if your question needs it.
8. This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. The site is hosted by GitHub Pages; GitHub may log technical data such as your IP address to keep the service secure. See GitHub's privacy statement.
9. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to ask what data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Because MyHome collects nothing, in practice this only concerns emails you've sent us. Email us and we'll take care of it.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or with the supervisory authority in your own country.
10. Children
MyHome is not aimed at children and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
11. Changes
If anything changes in how MyHome handles data, we update this policy before the change takes effect and you'll see the new date at the top of this page.
